THE TRACE WE LEAVE

Two birds, entwined in their final moment. Their bodies rest in stillness, as if holding on to each other until the very end. What appears to be a tender gesture reveals itself as a quiet testimony of loss — not accidental, but caused.

Their death is not part of nature’s cycle, but a consequence of human action. Climate change leaves its marks: in landscapes, in ecosystems, in bodies. The Trace We Leave portrays this silent legacy. No outcry, no spectacle — only silence.

SILENT WATCH

The lower bird lies motionless on its back — a quiet figure, lifeless, a symbol of transience. Above it sits a second bird, seemingly indifferent, watching but not acting.

Together, they form an image of witnessing without intervention, a silent echo of how we watch the world change as we wait.
